Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers.
For the month of June, Elizabeth Jennings has "lived" our core value of "There’s Only Opportunity."
Here's her story:
Change is inevitable. An unexpected change to one of our teams meant obtaining an outside replacement – or allowing a step-up opportunity.
After deliberating, the team unanimously voted to allow for internal growth and learning. This decision would offer both a challenge and an opportunity to the candidate, and she responded with only excitement and enthusiasm.
Our commercial team is lucky – Elizabeth Jennings was ready, willing and surely able. She stepped up for the team in their time of need, fully realizing “There’s Only Opportunity!”

What do you find most rewarding about working with the members of Team Schwartz?
Being able to serve our customers respectfully, efficiently and honestly.
What adjective best describes you?
Hmmm… Adaptable or versatile.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world – money being no object – where would you visit?
Phi Phi Islands in Thailand – if I had to name just one place.
Do you have any personal interests or hobbies?
I love my children, of course, and I also love going to the lake, gardening, visiting the beach, and I am always up for an adventure!
Any recent accomplishments you’d like to brag about?
Bringing my second child into the world! That’s the best accomplishment I can imagine.
What’s your favorite movie of all time?
I am not a big movie person. I don’t think I have a favorite film!
