Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. For the month of July, Michell Fust has "lived" our core value of "Building on a Legacy."

Who takes over an unexpected challenging task? Who delivers high quality work consistently? Who responds to requests for help at any time, despite having a personal workload? Well, that’s an A Player for you – and an A Player delivers!
This is exactly what happened when a new business account required attention. The Associate who was first enlisted to help was delayed, so this Advisor stepped in and delivered all that was needed – quickly and in perfect form.

Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Michell:
What do you find most challenging about your role as Business Advisor?
The most challenging thing I come across is trying to stay up to date with all the changes in the insurance world from coverages to companies. It really keeps a person on their toes!
If you could no longer work in the insurance field, what career would you choose?
Oddly enough, I would have been a cosmetologist, or I would have chosen to work with computers somehow - two different ends of the spectrum.
What rock group gets your vote for the greatest band of all time? Or do you prefer a different genre?
I listen to all kinds of music, so I would have a hard time picking just one. So ... I'll give you my top three favorites: Keith Urban, Lucero and Ed Sheeran.
If you could go back in time and give your eighteen-year-old self a bit of advice, what would it be?
Follow your heart and dreams. Don't let anybody tell you that you can't do something. Figure out a way to achieve that dream and make it happen!
What adjective best describes you?
Cooperative.
What might we be surprised to learn about you?
I've taken up the hobby of gardening and I find it very relaxing.
