Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. For the month of May, Brittany Baker has "lived" our core value of "Building on a Legacy."
Here's her story:
Earning kudos from insurance clients isn’t always easy. People can’t always be happy, especially when prices are increasing and frustration is running high.
“Always cheerful, sweet and willing to answer our questions. We appreciate her!” and “The personal relationships you don’t get from other places!” and “Helpful and caring. Love working with her and this company for over 20 years!” are EARNED kudos!
After 20 years of service, this is how great Advisors are viewed by their clients. Her talent and attitude are what makes her a trusted teammate – and why we all benefit as Brittany Baker continues Building on a Legacy!
Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Brittany:
Congrats on your 20th work anniversary with Schwartz! What do you find most challenging and rewarding about your role as Personal Advisor?
One of the most challenging parts of my role is helping clients understand the complexities of insurance coverage. Many people come in with misconceptions or feel overwhelmed by policy details. It’s a challenge to break that down into clear, relatable language and guide them to make informed decisions – especially when they are dealing with stressful situations like a claim or financial constraints. What I find most rewarding is the trust that clients place in me. I especially value the long-term relationships I build; some clients have been with me for years and I’ve helped them through life changes, new homes, teen drivers, etc. Being a dependable Advisor handling those key life events is something I take pride in.
What adjective best describes you?
Empathetic.
If you could go back in time and give your eighteen-year-old self a bit of advice, what would it be?
To be patient and trust the process. Every experience – good or bad – is shaping your character and path.
Do you have any personal interests or hobbies?
I’ve always enjoyed decorating. It’s just something that makes me happy.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world – money being no object – where would you like to visit?
Italy! I have always been drawn to the culture, food, and beauty.
What do you feel is your greatest accomplishment in life?
My greatest accomplishment in life is being a mom. It has taught me purpose and a deeper kind of love that I carry into every part of my life.
Congratulations on your Core Value Award, Brittany - and thank you for doing such a terrific job for Schwartz Insurance Group. You are appreciated!
