This month, Deonna Cottrill has "lived" our core value of "Building on a Legacy." Here's her story:

Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Deonna:
What's your favorite thing about working for Schwartz as a Personal Insurance Advocate?
The pleasant atmosphere in the office, and the happy and helpful co-workers and bosses that I have.
Are you a Louisville native? What do you like most about living in the Derby City?
Not a Louisville native as far as residence goes, but I am a native when it comes to my career. I have always lived in Brandenburg, KY and I don't plan on going anywhere. I get the best of both worlds: country living and city life. It's nice to have what you need at your fingertips during the week and then be able to go home and relax on the weekends.
Do you have any hobbies or personal interests?
I love spending any time with my family that I can! I am a creative person and have been blessed with the gifts of painting and drawing. I love to make old things look lovely again - like antique furniture. Also, I am an outdoors kind of gal, so I love bicycling and hiking.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world (money being no object), where would it be?
I dream about going to Greece, Indonesia or Sweden! I can't decide which would be my favorite, but I can assure you a trip to any of them would make me giddy.
Rock and roll or country music?
I'll listen to anything but country.
The book or the movie?
I fall asleep during both!
What makes you truly happy?
Seeing the ones I love smile, and making others smile, truly makes me ever so happy.
