Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. This month, Ginger Osbourne has "lived" our core value of "Consider it Done."
Here's her story:
What’s the definition of a team player? In short, it means someone who is skilled at collaboration and communication, and is also willing to help their teammates at a moment’s notice - especially with unexpected complications.
No matter the situation, she is calm, courteous and patient. She is always willing to learn new skills by seeking out carrier training and improving her capabilities by thinking critically about key tasks.
As a Personal Advisor, Ginger Osbourne is just such an associate. Her positive demeanor and the unflagging support she shows each of her teammates is comforting. They know, whatever they may need, they can “Consider it Done.”
Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Ginger:
You've been with Schwartz Insurance Group for over two years now. What are the things you find rewarding about working with the Personal Lines team?
My team is like a family - always there for you when you need a helping hand or advice. I feel like Schwartz Insurance Group has the best Personal Lines team in the world!
If you could no longer work in the insurance field, what career would you choose?
I would have loved to teach. I come from a family of educators and I love children.
What's your favorite movie of all time?
I have so many ... THE BODYGUARD and any film starring Will Smith or Jennifer Lopez.
Rock and roll or country music?
How 'bout some R&B or Hip-Hop? I actually love all types of music.
If you could go back in time and give your eighteen-year-old self a bit of advice, what would it be?
Don't spend so much time worrying about what others think of you. Treat others as you would want to be treated and surround yourself with people who will always be there for you no matter what life brings.
Time to brag about your family. Tell us why they make you proud.
I am very proud of my family! I have two lovely daughters. Kayla is 24 years old and is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in Criminal Justice. She works hard to provide for her daughter and my pride and joy, Paisley Kate. She is a wonderful mother and daughter. Lindsey is 20 years old and is a junior in the Nursing Program at the University of Kentucky, where she is the president of her class. She amazes me every day with her giving heart and her participation in mission trips to share her love for God.
My granddaughter, Paisley Kate, will be two years old this month. She is one of my biggest blessings and she teaches me something every day. Just when you think your life could not get any better, along comes a grandbaby and everything changes! My husband, John, and I will be married 28 years this October. It has been such a blessing watching our kids grow up - and now our precious granddaughter.
Congratulations on your Core Value Award, Ginger - and thank you for doing such a great job for Schwartz Insurance Group. You are appreciated!
