Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. This month, Jackie Cordle has "lived" our core value of "Consider it Done." Here's her story:
Personal insurance is really personal – and really important – to the person involved. When a client asks for a change and needs proof of coverage, they expect responsive service ... and that’s what they deserve.
But, sometimes even "internal customers" deserve out best. They need to have a pleasant and persistent advisor on their side. That’s what Lisa (yes, OUR Lisa) needed. And WE responded … expert advice and responsive advocacy to take care of the issue at hand.
As usual, Jackie Cordle delivered – with her you can Consider it Done!
Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Jackie:
Five years ago in April, you began your career as a Personal Advisor here at Schwartz Insurance Group. What do you appreciate the most about working with the SIG team?
Ever since I first walked through their door, I have been happy working for SIG. All of the employees work together as a team, and everyone is fair, honest and friendly. They always strive to do what's best for our customers each day. I have had the best training and tools provided to me to make sure that I can do my job with ease – and please my customers.
What adjective best describes you?
I am certainly dependable, but I would like to add that I try my best to be thoughtful and career-minded at my job. I always strive to do my best every day. I sincerely care for my customers, co-workers and my family.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world (money being no object), where would it be and why?
It may sound crazy, but I am happiest when I spend my vacation time at home with my family. I especially love staying busy in my sewing room.
Are there any pets in the Cordle household?
I have a three-year-old German Shorthair Pointer named Toby. He is the best dog that anyone could ask for. He is always ready to play with his toys and he loves to go to work with me. He loves to chase birds and butterflies in the yard.
What’s your favorite movie of all time?
I love comedies. I think I laughed more at There’s Something About Mary the first time I saw it than I had at any other movie ever!
Do you have any unusual hobbies or interests?
My hobbies are quite unique: I love to go trap-shooting with my 12-gauge shotgun and I love to sew even more.
I started shooting with my Dad when I was eleven years old. He bought me my first and only shotgun when I was twelve. I use the same gun today when I go shooting.
When I was eight years old, my parents purchased a sewing machine for me and I began attending sewing classes. I’ve been sewing ever since! I also love to quilt and do machine embroidery. I enjoy making things and giving gifts to my family and friends. I donate items to nursing homes and to maternity wards in hospitals.
Congratulations on your Core Value Award, Jackie - and thank you for doing such an exemplary job for Schwartz Insurance Group. You are appreciated!
