Meet Core Value Winner: Jane Sinnott - May 2019

May 15, 2019

Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. This month, Jane Sinnott has "lived" our core value of "Success Will Come."

Here's her story:

Being proactive can prove invaluable, especially knowing that paying attention – and taking steps to fix the smallest discrepancies – will usually prevent major problems down the road.

Two clients from a past merger appeared to have the wrong coverage. By taking notice, asking to verify details of apparent errors using backup data, we were able to quickly correct mistakes and avoid any repercussions.

Kudos to Jane Sinnott for identifying, validating and avoiding what could easily have turned into a real problem for valued clients. She is proof that doing the right thing proactively means “Success Will Come.”

Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Jane:

You’ve been with Schwartz Insurance Group for nearly two years now. What do you find most rewarding about working with the Personal Lines team?

Personal Lines is a very cohesive "have your back" kind of team - and they are an efficient group of topnotch people. I love how considerate and helpful they are. They know how to work together to find success and get the job done.

Have you always had a career in the insurance field?

I have not always worked in insurance. I have mainly been an Office Manager, as well as a Mortgage Loan Rates Analyst, Paralegal, and also a Cafeteria Manager at my children's school. I have many skills and I always rise to the needs of my employer to get any and all tasks completed.

If you could go back in time and give your eighteen-year-old self a bit of advice, what would it be?

Live to the lowest financial standard possible - don't go after material items, etc., until the time is right. Relax and enjoy life more instead of being stressed and anxious for basically no reason.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?

Captiva Island, Florida is my favorite place to go for a vacation.

We have to ask: UK or UofL?

U.K. - I BLEED BLUE! Also, I'm a fan of the University of Florida where my daughter is a D1 student athlete softball pitcher.

It’s time to brag about your family. Tell us why your kids make you proud.

My oldest just graduated on May 10th from EKU with a degree in engineering. I'm proud of how all four of my kids put in hard work, drive and effort towards their education and servant leadership. But mostly I'm proud because of their kind hearts, love for the Lord and their family and friends, and also their compassion for others. They are truly gracious and considerate - and they are my whole heart.

Congratulations on your Core Value Award, Jane - and thank you for doing such a great job for Schwartz Insurance Group. You are appreciated!
