Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. This month, Jenna Corwin has "lived" our core value of "Consider it Done."
Here's her story:
In most organizations, certain times of the year are “peak season” and are therefore more hectic. Often, employees get flustered and drop a few balls along the way, which can have a negative impact on valued clients.
Those who handle benefits during the fourth quarter know how overwhelming it can be, but during these challenging moments, great associates shine.
By working odd hours and going above and beyond to be timely and efficient, Jenna Corwin showed initiative and did what it took to keep renewals smoothly on track. Our clients could simply “Consider it Done!”
Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Jenna:
You've been with Schwartz Insurance Group for nearly a year now. What do you find most rewarding about your role as Benefits Advisor? Most challenging?
There are two aspects to my position that I find most rewarding. First, I love being able to share good news and save clients money when we find lower quotes during open enrollment. Secondly, I enjoy presenting to employees to help explain benefits in an easy-to-understand way. What I find most challenging is the 4th quarter - it stays very busy until January!
Do you have any personal interests or hobbies?
I enjoy swimming laps, reading, sewing/quilting, cooking, as well as spending time with my family, friends, and pets.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world (money being no object), where would you visit?
If I could go anywhere, I would really like to travel to Australia.
What's your favorite movie of all time?
Well, I'm not sure about my favorite movie, but my favorite thing to watch is a TV show called "Downton Abbey." I love that series!
Rock and roll or country music?
I enjoy listening to a little bit of everything!
Tell us about the pets in the Corwin household. Feel free to brag!
I have a small Beagle/Jack-Russell mix named Heidi, who I rescued. She is black and white and has such a sweet, calm demeanor. This past summer, I also adopted a mini Golden Doodle puppy named Ruby, who is six months old now and crazier than ever! She has reddish, curly hair but her face, paws and tail are white. Both dogs love to go for walks and they enjoy playing with their basket of 20 million toys in the living room!
Congratulations on your Core Value Award, Jenna - and thank you for doing such a great job for Schwartz Insurance Group. You are appreciated!
