Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. This month, Jesse Abbott has "lived" our core value of "Consider it Done." Here's her story:
PowerPoint can make an impressive presentation. But, PowerPoint can be an impressive pain in the …
Keeping it simple is not always so simple. Putting things in order is sometimes a tall order. And, let’s not talk about animation … just setting up one small move on the page is like moving a mountain!
When one of our newest advisors was creating an important presentation – and getting frustrated – it only took a few minutes of expertise and caring and everything thing was back on track. A quick lesson that with Jesse Abbott, you can Consider it Done!
Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Jesse:
You’ve been with SIG for almost 15 years. What do you find most challenging about being a Business Key Advisor? What do you find the most rewarding?
Staying on top of proactive goals is always challenging. If you don't prepare for the future, all you are doing is taking care of emergencies in the present. Finding coverage gaps and getting my insureds protected properly is the most rewarding part of my job.
What adjective best describes you?
Creative!
If you could vacation anywhere in the world (money being no object), where would it be and why?
Kona Coast of the Big Island, Hawaii. I love to swim. They have some of the clearest waters in the world, and very private, isolated beaches. I'd love the peace and serenity with generous doses of scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, beachcombing and family picnics on the beach.
Rock and roll or country music?
New! But if I had to choose between those two, I'd pick rock and roll.
Pretend you could go back in time. What advice would you give to your 18 year old self?
To thine own self be true.
What’s your favorite hobby or personal interest?
Creating unique costumes - and I also love gardening.
Tell us a little bit about your family (including pets).
I am married (ten years) with three children (ages 17, 12 and 9), a dog (Great Pyrenees), and a horrible but adorable calico cat who eats my baby plants with no remorse.
Congratulations on your Core Value Award, Jesse - and thank you for doing such a great job for Schwartz Insurance Group. You are appreciated!
