Every month, Schwartz Insurance Group selects a peer-nominated associate to receive a Core Value Award. The winner is chosen because they "lived" one of our agency's core values - typically an event or accomplishment above and beyond the call of duty in serving our customers. This month, Paula Vasse has "lived" our core value of "Consider it Done."
Here's her story:
It can be challenging to keep a calm perspective and maintain a positive attitude when the unexpected happens – but difficult situations often bring out the best in individual performance!
A personnel transition created an increased workload and seemingly more hectic schedules. But this associate buckled down and met the challenge! Not once did she let her professionalism waver – in fact, she ensured that all of her clients experienced exemplary service … as usual!
As a dedicated Business Advisor, Paula Vasse has proven over and over that if there’s service to be delivered, despite circumstances, simply “Consider it Done.”
Here, in her own words, is a little more information about Paula:
What do you find most challenging about your role as a key Business Advisor? Do you have any advice for others on how to stay cool under pressure?
I believe the most challenging part is getting the insured/prospect to provide the required information needed to work on the account – especially in a timely manner. I just try to make the best out of every situation with a positive attitude.
Let’s pretend you never entered the insurance field. What career would you have chosen?
Years ago, I would have said I would have liked to be a teacher. But now, I would choose a career that would allow me to be more involved with people helping them with whatever could make their life more comfortable and happy.
What adjective best describes you?
Thought about this long and hard. Even asked the family. Did not come up with the same word twice. So, the only word I can come up with is “indescribable” because one word just won’t do it!
Are you a Louisville native? If so, we have to ask: UK or U of L?
Yes, indeed, I am a Louisville native – so U of L!
The book or the movie?
The movie.
What’s your favorite musical genre? Country, rock and roll, classical…?
I like songs from every genre … with the exception of “rap”.
Congratulations on your Core Value Award, Paula - and thank you for doing such an excellent job for Schwartz Insurance Group. You are appreciated!
